DAY 215 (The tickling memories with a friend-for-life..!! )

When it comes to memory, it becomes difficult to tag just one as the "most precious". And when the snippets are related from your friends, it makes you a little nostalgic too realising that "those were the days" and now the days have changed and grown. Sigh...!

Well...remembering the funny moments, I remember the tickling days when I would say I and my friend were half grown when it came to maturity. You know the college kids? ..who have just passed out from a student life and have entered into a formal corporate world and you are suddenly expected to grow 10 years to your age? Well...it never happens as it is expected. Infact, you try and suppress others to 10 years younger to fit in to your group.

They say you never make friends in office. All you have can be tagged under only colleagues, teammates, competitors etc. But I have been lucky enough to have been blessed with a friend-for-life from an unexpected venue! :-)

When it comes to stories..we have innumerable..!! What not have we done together? :)
Bunking office for shopping...
Going to my grandmom's place to have tasty food and watch tv...
Booking tickets for every weekend for a movie irrespective of which movie it is or whether its worth watching or not...
Standing window side and having coffee atleast twice a day...
Having lunch together and if the cafeteria offers chinese, ordering 1 more plate to gobble that too...
Imitating managers, colleagues and creating a full-on drama sequence...
Starting to laugh uncontrollably on everything funny without caring who is around...infact involving others too by sharing the joke...
Being an exemplary friendship for whole of the office and being proud of it...
Fighting over petty issues and most of the times being too proud to talk about it...
Getting each other's back and fighting for each other more than we fight for ourselves...
Sharing every secret, every problem and every happiness as soon as it happens...
Sharing every piece of dairy milk ...
Backing up for each other's work as well when the other one is not in a mood to work or need to leave home early...
Being the happiest person for her happiness and crying for her sadness...
Being sad when you have to work on weekend but suddenly getting excited when you know that the other one will also be there to make it fun.. !
Being too sad to be apart when one of us got married and as a result taking a transfer to cope up the emptiness.

And...even after 2.5 years of being under the same roof everyday 9 hours...and 1 year of being in different cities, still capable of making the other laugh with tears just on chat!!

It is like a full-on Filmy Sholay friendship ;-) with a lot of twists and turns .. and still enjoying the roller coaster ride...

I thank her for being just a wonderful mate for me till now and forever...and I promise to be the confider and sharer now and always.. :-)
