DAY 163 (Assets of life...!)

We often ignore the small assets of life. True but we ignore the truth too.

A call from a long-lost friend...
A long mail after a long time...
A friend teasing you over someone...
A totally unexpected surprise from someone who cares for you just too much...
.....

There are just so many of them!

But we all forget all this and remember the big things

A promotion missed to get...
A fight with the parents...
A t-shirt for which there was not enough money in pockets...

And what not???

Thats lame! But thats how we react. Thats how I react most of the times.

But life is beautiful. And its beautiful in its own way. Don't search the beauty in the obvious things. Because thats obvious that you are not gonna find it there. A step you take towards life, another step life takes towards you.

But what people generally want is to just hang there and wait for life to move on. Thats not gonna happen. And that should not happen as well.

You have to smile to get a smile back. You have to care to be cared. You have to love to be loved.

Just be simple...you'll yourself be as sweet as ever! :)

DAY 313 (Retrospection)

There always comes a time in life when you retrospect past few months/years and decide what needs changing. Sometimes the changes are in your routine, sometimes the people surrounding you and other times starting new things for your own good. My retrospection gave me all three recently! It is overwhelming to realize at times that you were roaming in the wrong lanes and had you not done this exercise, you might have done a lot of damage to your own.  I got this habit or rather this alarm of awareness ever since I was in 9th standard or somewhere around same age where I kind of auto-fix myself with this exercise. It is usually a hit and trial but the self awareness makes me more independent every time I do it. DAY 41 (G-talk...Men not allowed..!!!)

Oh..I knew it..!!! Reading the title would have applied all forces of magnetism to all the guys there...and this post is gonna get visited by record-breaking number of guys...he he!! But..you know what boys???...its gonna award you with nothing mouth-watering (yes I know what you are hoping for..!!!) So...all my girl-friends lets start the group discussion here.. Actually I wanna check if I am an exception here (which i do not think I am)...or is it the regular scenario?? Well...the general perception says that girls are freakingly obsessed about their regular visits to beauty parlours just to cover up the the little flaws they have in their looks. But thats not true according to me. I'll tell you my personal experience.
